A great example of how meaning and emotion is expressed, which we discussed in class, is shown through the music video 'Nothing Compares' by Sinead O'Connor:
The song caused great controversey as it shows true emotion from Sinead O'connor who begins to cry during the song as the lyrics say, 'Mama'. This is due to her mother passing away recently. This is a brilliant example of the effectiveness of true emotion and how it catches the audience's attention and sympathy.
